Car seats are one of, if not THE most important purchase you will ever make for your children.
They have phenomenal reviews, excellent safety ratings, and I loved the convenience of their travel system.
We purchased bases for each seat so that we could easily click the seats in and out of the bases (which stay in the car) and onto our double-decker B Agile stroller.
I had to purchase a few extras to convert the single stroller into a double stroller but it was relatively simple to do so and worked well for us when the twins were small.
Naturally, when it came time to purchase convertible car seats I again purchased Britax.
But then something happened…..sometime before their third birthday, my formerly tiny babies hit a major growth spurt and were dangerously close to “maxing out” the weight limit for rear facing in their current seats.
I am a bit of a car seat safety nut and knowing how much safer they are rear facing, I personally was not ready to turn them around.
My husband and I discussed it because these would be our 5th and 6th car seat purchases (#twinparentproblems) but we agreed, that this is one area in which we are NOT willing to cut corners.
I found the Cleck Fllo and it was EVERYTHING I was looking for :
- rigorous safety testing and excellent safety ratings
- extended rear facing up to 50 lb
- GREENGUARD Select Certified Crypton® Super Fabrics (Fabrics are GREENGUARD Select Certified and provide permanent protection against stains, moisture, and odor-causing bacteria; and are free of brominated and chlorinated flame retardants.)
- Narrow enough to fit three across in most any vehicle which was awesome because shortly after their third birthday, I became PREGNANT.
We ordered two for the twins right away and a third for the baby once he was ready to transition from his infant seat.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and durability of these seats. I love that they are manufactured in North America and I love having my children three across in the second row of our minivan! Highly Recommend!

Finally…be sure to locate a CST (Certified Car Seat Technician) in your area to help ensure your car seats are installed correctly. Improper installation lessens the effectiveness of your car seat.
